MAINTENANCE & TIPS

PAINTINGS

It is best to dust a painting every 4 weeks. In addition, you can also wipe a painting once every 6 months with a damp cloth.

Make sure that you do not hang a painting in full sun. This may cause the colors to discolour.

The painting feels best in the conditions of a living room. Not too hot, not too cold and not too humid.

DRAWINGS, PRINTS & PAINT SKETCHES

The following tips apply to all works of art on paper. All the paper I use is of high quality and a minimum of 250g.

A piece of art on paper remains clean and tidy when you display it in a frame.

When you change frames, always make sure that your hands are grease-free and clean.

When the paper has been rolled up and is therefore slightly bent, never bend it to the other side. Instead, you can simply lay the drawing down on a flat surface and gravity will slowly do the work in a gentle way.

Pieces on paper s also feel best in a living room environment. Not too hot, not too cold and normal humidity.

Please note, never hang a paperpiece in the sun to prevent discoloration.

TRANSPARENT PAINTINGS

The transparent paintings are made with acrylic paint on glass or a plastic plate. You can clean this plastic plate/glass with a glass cleaner.

Attention, do not use this product on the painting! It is sufficient to wipe the painting with a damp cloth.
