For me, painting is a language to express myself without words. I also like to paint people because they have the most influence on the emotion. The combination of color, portrait and the body give me ammunition to make a catchy image. I hope that my paintings hold the viewer for a moment, that my paintings are mysterious and at the same time make the viewer feel good

My name is Daphne Schrijver, born in 1989 and living in Breda.

From childhood I enjoyed being creative. Despite that desire, it took me some time to figure out that I have a talent for painting. For example, I followed various courses before I ended up in art education. There I have now followed painting lessons for 5 years and I will specialize for the next 2 years.

When you follow your heart, you end up at the place where you should be.
